Linus Kreitner
Linus Kreitner is a Doctoral researcher at the Chair for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He earned his M.Sc. in Informatics with a specialization in digital medicine from TUM in 2023. His past research focused on the semisupervised segmentation of blood vessels in OCTA images, where he developed techniques for disease prediction based on computed biomarkers derived from these segmentation maps. This work enhanced transparency and quality assurance for clinicians. Currently, Linus is dedicated to advancing numerical understanding in large language models, with the goal of enabling automated analysis of tabular medical data, such as laboratory results. His research emphasizes optimizing the internal representation of numerical data and integrating domain-specific training to ensure robust, accurate, and unbiased numeric processing.
