Friederike Jungmann
Friederike is a researcher at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine and an assistant radiologist at the Institute for Radiology at TUM. In the course of her doctoral degree, Friederike completed multiple projects on developing machine learning applications for analyzing computed tomography images. Furthermore, she has worked on projects developing privacy-preserving machine learning methods. Currently, her research focuses on the integration of AI in clinical applications and human-AI interaction. In interdisciplinary projects, she investigates the effects of AI in medical areas, particularly radiological issues, on the quality of patient care, how exactly AI can best be used to support clinicians and what influences there are in relation to the interaction between humans and machines in a medical context.
